David: You’ve changed the attitude of men towards grooming and cosmetics. How important is grooming to you?
I think it’s important to always look after yourself whatever your age. For me it feels instinctive and I don’t wear something because of what anyone would think. It has to feel right for the person and if people are complimentary, then it’s a bonus.
David: Has your fashion sense evolved over time?
I’ve always had a liking toward clothes, but when I met Victoria, she directed me in the right way. When she tells me something doesn’t look good, I believe her. We have a connection that way.
David: How do you choose what haircut to get?
I never think, ok next week I'm going to shave my head. I just wake up one morning and decide the time feels right for a change.
David: Do you consider yourself good-looking?
No, not really but I like to think I’ve got my own distinct look, which reflects who I am as a person and the way I evolve as a man.
David: What’s the difference between public and private personas?
What you see that’s me and that won’t change. I don’t try and hide anything.
David: What can you tell us about your scent Classic?
My fragrance, Classic, is an expression of my style… modern, elegant, masculine… I love it. And hope everyone will love it as much as I do.
David: When do you wear it?
I wear it on the same occasions as most men: after training, after a shower, when I'm going out...
David: What does the tagline "Revise your classic" mean to you?
As much as I like to keep my style classic, it's got to have a modern twist to it as well. "Revise your classic" is about combining these two looks.
David: A last question: What keeps you motivated in life?
Always have something to look forward to. Whatever it is. If you don't have that, you lose interest, you become stale.
